Annual Awards Banquet

About the banquet
Each year the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation holds an annual fundraiser called Kulia I Ka Nu’u (“strive for the highest”) Banquet and honors three public school graduates and a corporation. These honorees have not only distinguished themselves in their respective fields but have made significant contributions to the community as well.
The Kulia I Ka Nu’u Banquet is the Foundation’s only fund-raising activity. Funds realized help support the Foundation’s Good Idea Grant program. Good Idea Grants are awarded to public school teachers and schools for innovative ideas that will improve instruction and student learning.
